ABGINNII Palm Leaf plates are produced in India from handpicked naturally-fallen palm leaves. When disposed of, they will degrade naturally, transforming into nutrient-rich soil that helps other plants grow. As these plates are made from fallen palm leaves, NO trees are cut in the process. Crafting these plates does not cause deforestation and offers a great alternative to plastic and paper plates. Our plates are natural and are made without exposure to any chemicals or glues, making them a healthy choice for food consumption.
Each plate has slight variations in texture and colour that come from the variations of the handpicked palm leaves. Our plates have a beautiful rustic feel that can be the star of the show at weddings, parties, or BBQs. They have a mild, pleasant, woody scent that does not distract and are extremely durable (similar to wood), but are lightweight like paper or cardboard. Our dinnerware products are impressive at handling hot foods and liquids and can be safely used in a microwave or oven up to 340°F.
